Personally, I can say without a doubt that his mangas contain the best drawn bakunyuu women this realm of manga (uno makoto is the best for anime). Anyway looking at the his art I realized that similar to a lot bakunyuu artist I hold in high regard. So which brings me question, what makes for great and memorable bakunyuu artwork. Here's me list


Good Portions

Perhaps one of the best features about Cattleya (queen's blade) is that she's a one of the few full-figured bakunyuu characters. Oh sure she has huge breasts, but there's a set of wide hips, thick thighs, big butt and round belly to go with those breasts [img2.gelbooru.com]. Good bakunyuu art tries to be accurate to the body type. It's very easy to fall into the trap of drawing a character with the generic anime thinness and add on a pair of huge breasts but I find that good bakunyuu art avoids that. The benefit is that the characters appear far softer and much for palatable to look at since it's easy to envision someone with their breasts size.

Believable breasts

You'd think that this would be the standard in most bakunyuu art considering the vast majority of the art comes from bakunyuu-fans themselves but sadly it's not the case. However it's hard to fault most artist as breasts, especially bakunyuu-size ones, are difficult to draw. Things like weight, softness and sag have to be considered but the artists that can depict them in a Believable manner tend to produce top-tier works. A great example being practically anything drawn by st-retcher, the attention to detail on his drawing of breasts is nothing short of astounding. They drop down, sag bit, react to the tightness of their clothing, bounce in all sorts of directions, these are breasts [img2.gelbooru.com]. I love big breeasts as much as the next bakunyuu fan but size means nothing if a sense of feeling can't be conveyed through the artwork.

Bakunyuu women that look like women

There's an old saying "real women have curves" and you what? that's true of about real life big bust models and depending of the skill of the artist that should be true for most great bakunyuu art. It's very easy to lump bakunyuu breasts with generic anime cuteness which often has your character looking like a preteen with huge breasts. You get something like divergence eve [img295.imageshack.us] . Oh sure it's not bad but it's not pratically erotic. Now compare that to the buxom far more mature looking cast of dragonauts [img163.imageshack.us] . It's way easier to take the character design in dragonaut as erotic because eroticism is general a mature subject.

The series was supposed to have 3 more episodes. I read that in an interview with the producer, years ago. But that is so true that the last episode of blade punish ends with a scene that not only implie, but PROMISE you that there will be more episodes. I mean, what the hell! The point where blade punish ends is full of loose ends and things that crave for explanation. Not to mention that the villain is alive and well.

That is all. Since it took some years after angel blade for blade punish to be published, I still have some hope. Well, to begin with, the matroska files can be very troublesome. There is a mkv codec pack if you look around the net but personally I didn´t like it. My recommendation is the VLC player. It is a light, simple player that you will have no problem finding. It plays almost every type of video file. The downfall is that it does not have many utilities.

so the main purpose of this weeks topic in who are are top 3 (and honorable mention) bakunyuu manga artists. Now, these can be hentai or non-hentai artists the only similarity they have to have with each other is that there works star a predominantly large breasts cast.

2 guidelines
1) 3 manga mangaka and if you want an honorable mention. So you can mention up to 4 people. Why the limit? I want people to really think about their choices

2) You don't have to give a description and resons why you like said mangaku BUT if the mangaku hasn't been mentioned put try to come up with a pic or a set of pics that represent the artist work

top three

I love this guys work. His style, just by looking at the pictures you can tell his work is different than most hentai manga artist for one thing his girls are thick, and by "thick" I don't mean that stupid euphemism for fat. Ohepe's girls are not fat, nor would I even classify them as chubby, nope they just have an extremely healthy look to them. They don't have extra pockets of fat(well..aside from breasts) but their not supermodels thin. Now for our fetish ohepe isn't really a bakunyuu artist, he's more of a kyonyuu (large breasts) guy but IMO that's a good thing. I like the fact that his women are thick, and aren't just top heavy like most bakunyuu hentai characters. Finally lets not forget his sex scenes.. dear god the sex scene. I wouldn't even classify as sex, because sex isn't strong enough. Ohepe's character make love in the truest sense [www.pixslam.com]. Most of his story are light affairs that always end in hot steamy extremely wet love scenes. They don't obscure the males face, in fact the males just as important as the female, and best of all they don't fall into the trappings of making the couple have "zombie sex" like you see in most hentai manga, nope instead you can tell that yes his oneshot's aren't nobel prize winning literature but that the two character (and sometimes one more) really love each other. Be nice if other hentai mangaka could follow his lead when is comes to light hentai.

2) Gura Nyuto [www.pixslam.com] [www.pixslam.com] [www.pixslam.com] [www.pixslam.com]

Note: This mangaka mainly does futa but he has done 2 oneshots with futas on male (ofcourse cross-dressing androgynous males that might aswell be girls but males nonetheless [www.pixslam.com]) and 1 oneshot with a shemale, guys with breasts (an extremely attractive guy with breasts [www.pixslam.com]).

Anyway he styles. Most of his women are sultry a nice break from the cutsy moeified hentai characters, he's definitely been innfluenced by motchie. They have Thin to athletic builds [www.pixslam.com] but there's a great attention to detail when it to his character design. Abs arms sides there all clearly defined with a lot of attention of to details. In other words he does more than draws the basic shape of his characters, he fills in the detail, this especially shows with his more muscular characters [www.pixslam.com]. Now the main focus of his work is futa even though the majority of are very busty don't expect too much focus on the breasts [www.pixslam.com]. Also he stories are actually pretty original, I yet to find too many that are derivative, I guess it's the futa element that adds something original. Now sex scenes, They vigorous, to say the least, aside from 1 oneshot most of his characters are sex-obsessed. So there's a lot of raping, eye-rolling, and a lot of other dark-theme hentai stuff, if you've was Taimanin Asagi, replace the ugly demons with buxom sexy futas, but if doesn't get too graphic with the stuff and the characters are for the most part are very lively when is come to sex ultimately making the sex scene feel authentic.IMO Nyuto is definitely the ceiling as far as futa content goes, sure there are a few people that are turned off by the concept of futa, but for me and a few people how see the advantages of futa (2 beautiful females have real sex? sign me up) then you really can't wrong with Nyuto

sigh... In all honest he if I were going off quality of pics only he would be my 1st but sadly he portfolio is just soo shit. If his work looks familiar it's because he's the guest stars in a lot of work by tetrodotoxin [www.pixslam.com] and in all honesty I wished their roles we're reversed. I don't find tetrodotoxin bad or anything(definetly in my top ten) but st-retcher is just in another league. He character design is what I want to see in a bakunyuu character. Huge breasts wide hips, thick thighs. I like seeing big things go together and st-retcher draws just that [www.pixslam.com]. Best of all much like gura Nyuto and Ohepe he work is very much a manga only, the uniqueness and amount of attention to detail wouldn't translate well in anime form. Yet even with all of this it's a goddamn shame that the guy's release schedule is shit. Seriously, it takes MONTHS to for him to even put up one illustration and a oneshot or a doujinshi...Lets just say a while. Shame cause he really is that best. He's that kind of artist that well I look at and wish I could draw like that
