So I randomly checked Matsuyama Seiji's blog and saw this:

By clicking one of the links there I found this:

If you look at samples there you will see it says 161 in the fourth pic, and after checking the 18th volume I noticed it ends at chapter 160.
Can anyone please translate and tell what is going on?

Wow, this does look convincing; it looks almost too good to be another doujin. I wonder where the story will take off, provided we don't have translated books 13-18 yet! (And it's taking them HOW MANY YEARS?!) That aside, I wonder what turns up in this department.
