Anyone else feel like these boards are getting quieter and quieter every day? I remember when this place used to be a bustling archive with the latest on all things bakunyuu. Now it seems like we only get a couple of posts a week..

Your guess is as good as mine, to be honest.

Though I must admit that if nothing else, hentai has largely gone entirely off the deep end and is extremely hard to watch nowadays, and it seems oddly tricky to walk into good CG sets.

The fact that there's seemingly some weird backlash about putting women in anime that don't look like 11-year-old boys that's REALLY going into effect these days certainly isn't helping the cause, too.

Weird happens... and the fact that I haven't given my site an update in about a billion years prolly isn't helping that much.

Not to mention good material is so hard to find nowadays, even trying to await the latest episode of High School of the Dead, even Sekirei has a new season for a while. Haven't watched the latter, but who knows if there's good worthy moments in that like in the first one.

To make matters worse, Queen's Rebellion doesn't have Cattleya or a Cattleya-esque character yet/at all. Who knows what would happen there. In speaking of which, is it me, or do they churn out non-bakunyuu characters for that series every now and then?

If this gets worse, we'll have to resort to be founding our own animation studio or game company, or dig up any old anime series from the past that contain a healthy dose of Bakunyuu content and use that. Remember Magic Users Club and how that show wasn't giffed until years later? That's how bored we got, and things like that are worth the wait. (See the gif section for more information.) Either way, we can't give up hope now, and there's got to be some worthy moments down the road. Once that's done, it will be awesome to see!

I know from my end it's mainly because I haven't been watching nearly as much anime as I used too. It's not even anime fatigue, I'm only watching HSTOD but I dunno I haven't been able to commit to watching much anime. Also, you can add comics to the list of fandoms I've become a part of, so that's taking alot of my time

I'm not so sure about the backlash thing. I'm having no trouble finding anime series with bakunyuu content, I'd even say that while there are some gems from the past, we can way more content nowadays. Seriously Qwaser, HSTOD, Asobi ni Ikuyo!, and sekirei all released in the same year. Sure the hentai scene is garbage but I'm more than grateful for the stuff we have now.

But yeah, that's what I'M curious about- what the exsanguinated shit happened to hentai? I finally understand why everyone was asking so much about Milk Junkies back in the day- it was quite possibly the only good-natured show that hit the bakunyuu fetish perfectly, with NO horrifying creepy shit or male characters that looked like the stuff of nightmares during, like, a three-year span. Why have there not been more shows like that ever since?

hmm well this isn't just happening here...in my case i see this happening almost anywhere. People always gets pretty busy when college strats. However it is interesting that even in mid term period this site was quite quiet (oops lol). Maybe hentai is getting not as agreeable as it was, but there's some ecchi that, even tho doesn't add really busty girls, has some respectable sized ones. So this is indeed puzzling.

I've been busy lately with college, drawing things, and writing non-porn related fics. I haven't had the inspiration to work on more of either Something Wicked or Hug Me, Kiss Me, Fuck Me.

I can only come up with an educated guess about why the hentai industy is it the state it's in, because finding out info on the regular anime is hard enough. There are multiple theories why, but I think two big ones are, a lot talent has left the hentai business and these darker more festish-fueled hentai series appeal to a hardcore audience that are willing to buys the stuff. It's worst of both worlds, a talentless industry and an audience that pretty much takes anything as long as the girl gets pissed on or is raped until she shits herself.

Oh well, said it before but I've lost care for the hentai animation industry. It's a sad shell of what it used to be and quite frankly ecchi series and hentai manga just do a better job at invoking eroticism.

Yeah, expect a chapter of Sein to be posted this week. Samurai Kyonyuu on the other hand, it's installment is being preread right now, so it may take a while again. It will be so worth it once it's actually made for both stories.

Also, college seems to slow the process down and then some. Boredom can only do so much to me!

For this site itself I can't say, I'm quite new to it. But it is sure Specifique so probably less people will come. Big boobs I mean i don't mind hanging out here but I love small breast also. I know I'm not the only one, but you know, it's specifique so people might not hang out much here for that reason.... long to explain I think you get the idea.

As for hentai, it's true some series are really crappy, others seem like they've been done 100 times, others aren't sexy or interesting. And it's true Milk Junkies is one of those really good ones. I tried checking out other stuff but I get burned by fetishes that grosse me out.
Their are few hentai I suggest to people, 'cause their all pretty fetish driven.

i think that it is true, believe it or not many oppai or BE fans are not much into hardcore stuff and those into harcore don't like forums this much...again that's just a guess

That's exactly what I've been thinking, although there have been animes that have gotten close like Resort Boin and Hitozuma Kasumi-san (but that came out around the same time as MJ). But still nothing has topped Milk Junkies.

Yeah I suppose the lack of good hentai could be a major factor. I admit that I haven't been around all that much either due to college obligations. Still I hope, the board picks up again eventually.

These boards are definitely busier after there's an update on the main site.

Also, inactivity breeds more inactivity. If people don't post much, then there's nothing to talk about, so people post even less.

Does one consider that a 'vicious circle' or a 'vicious whirlpool'?

Well, better late than never to ask this but are there's any updates or new content in the work for the main website? Not that you feel forced or obliges to do so but I do also think that an inactive website gives to impression of an inactive community.

If there nothing planned so far, might I recommend, as far as layout, moving the link to the forum further up on the website.

...well, I'm not completely averse to making more galleries one of these days, and there's a chance that if that project I'm working on for D.A. expands beyond its original scope, I'll post the results as well.

I'd also love to try writing out more reviews and stuff, since I haven't done that in a while and I'm really starting to dig games that are actually screen-cappable.

I make no promises, of course. And I can't do anything about the jackasses who keep randomly attacking the server to no apparent purpose except hope they stop.

I've been quiet because of various above reasons. College pressure,how fucked up hentai has gotten to be and the fact that I can't motivate myself to actually sit and watch something. I can't consider myself entertained by ANYTHING anymore if I can't directly interact with it, so I've been unable to force myself through SNQII and Manyuu Hikencho.

...I have noticed that I've trained a metric shit ton of pokemon since BW came out, though... <_<

I know I'm sticking around. This is the best forum/site for bakunyuu
